"Building Envelope Technician" means a person who, for all types of buildings, does
(a) the measuring, handling, cutting, preparation, installation, removal, repair, replacement and sealing of all types of the external portion of walls of various types, including:
- wall/foundation interface,
- wall/roof interface,
- openings in walls such as windows and doors, and electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other penetrations
(b) the application and/or installation of:
- sheathing membrane,
- windows and doors,
- flashing,
- self-adhered membrane,
- strapping.
