Update on the Residential Construction Industry Training Organization (RCITO)
The Industry Training Authority (ITA) will not be renewing its fee-for-service agreement with the Residential Construction Industry Training Organization (RCITO) as of April 1, 2012. RCITO has been responsible for six ITA-designated trades, including the Heating Technician (HT) program for which you are registered. Management of these programs has now shifted to ITA.

What does this mean if I am an apprentice Heating Technician?
ITA will continue to support you throughout your apprenticeship so that you are able to acquire both your Heating Technician Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship. If you have any questions about your apprenticeship, please contact the Thermal Environment Comfort Association (TECA) at 604-596-0595 or by email at adm@teca.ca; or contact Richard Ho at ITA Customer Service at (778) - 327-5910 or by email at rho@itabc.ca.
