Inboard/Outboard Mechanic

Description

"Inboard/Outboard Mechanic" means a person who installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains engines, drivetrains and accessories used in pleasure craft marine industry and involves all aspects of repairs to gasoline outboard motors, gasoline and light diesel inboard motors and stern drive units.

Equivalency Status Application

The Equivalency Application Package for this trade is currently under development. Over the next several months the ITA will be working with Industry Training Organizations and other Industry Partners to develop the Equivalency Application Packages for this trade. You may email or telephone the ITA Customer Service Department and provide your name, mailing address, and the name of your Trade if you wish to be placed on a waiting list for this Equivalency Package. An Application Package will be mailed to you as soon as it is available.
