Bricklayer (Mason) Foundation Program

The Foundation Program consists of Level 1 technical training in addition to practical and essential skills related to the Bricklayer apprentice program. "Mason" means a person who places, repairs, bricks, concrete blocks, stone marble, pre-cast artificial masonry units, engineered masonry panels, refractories, caulking and cleaning, placing of damp proofing, masonry flashing, and such other work as is usually done by a mason.

Bricklayer Foundation students will be required to complete a practical assessment, as well as a standardized examination. The flow chart below outlines the steps for completing these requirements.
