Description

"Heavy Equipment Operator" technicians operate heavy machinery such as heavy articulating rock trucks, loaders, excavators, backhoes, dozers and graders. These machines are used universally for all manner of heavy construction, earth moving, road building, mining, forestry, mega projects all included. Technicians may also be responsible for the basic maintenance of equipment, safety around equipment and the compliance of markers, grades and stakes.

Equivalency Status Application
The Equivalency Application Package for this trade is currently under development. Over the next several months the ITA will be working with Industry Training Organizations and other Industry Partners to develop the Equivalency Application Packages for this trade. You may email or telephone the ITA Customer Service Department and provide your name, mailing address, and the name of your Trade if you wish to be placed on a waiting list for this Equivalency Package. An Application Package will be mailed to you as soon as it is available.
