As a Red Seal Apprentice, you are eligible for a grant of $1000 a year for the first two years of your training. After that, you are eligible to apply for tax credits each year. And when you complete your Red Seal program, you can apply for an additional grant of $2,000.

As an Apprentice in a non-Red-Seal program, you are eligible to apply for tax credits each year of your apprenticeship.

Additional tax credits may be available to First Nations Apprentices or Apprentices with Disabilities.
