ITA has Managers of Industry Relations to better understand, communicate and respond to each industry's needs in BC. This will help to insure that ITA will remain connected to industry and provide BC with the right skilled workers where they are needed.  They work with the following sectors:

SAG's will provide input to:

  • ITA on the most important and relevant sectoral training strategies to address labour market demand
  • Government on government collected data sets, assumptions, and general labour market forecasts
  • Government on actual labour market forecast numbers
  • Government on high-level policy issues

This move is in response to the recently launched B.C.’s Skills for Jobs Blueprint as well as recommendations made in The Industry Training Authority and Trades Training in BC: Recalibrating for High Performance (McDonald Report).
