Q1: What inspired you to pursue a career in skilled trades?

My dad is the reason I decided to become a ticketed tradesperson. For as long as I could remember he told me to go to school and get a ticket in trades. My dad explained that there will always be demand for skilled tradespeople and he also stressed the importance of certification. Now, I am Red Seal Welder with both structural and pressure welding endorsements.

Q2: What do you love doing in your spare time?

In the little spare time I have, I love hunting and fishing!

Q3: What do you feel most proud of?

I’m most proud of my family and the life we’ve started! I have girlfriend and daughter, and we've recently bought our first house together. I also run a small welding business and work full time.

Q4: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years from now?

In ten years from now I’d like to see myself all settled down in my home town running a successful company.
